Volunteer Program

Give Your Time & Skills

Hub 17 relies on a passionate community of volunteers to deliver programs, support events, and drive innovation. Whether you have a few hours a week or can commit long-term, there's a role for you.

We welcome expertise in technology, education, agriculture, communications, project management, research, and community engagement. No contribution is too small.

Volunteer Roles

Where You Can Contribute

Training Facilitator

Lead workshops and training sessions in your area of expertise — digital skills, entrepreneurship, agribusiness, and more.

Communications & Media

Capture and tell Hub 17 stories through photography, videography, social media, and content writing.

Tech & Development

Build websites, apps, and digital tools that support Hub 17 programs and community initiatives.

Community Outreach

Work directly with communities to identify needs, deliver programs, and gather impact data for our SDG projects.

Events & Operations

Help organise Hub 17 events, hackathons, pitch nights, and community programs from planning to execution.

Research & Documentation

Contribute to Hub 17's research agenda — from literature reviews to field surveys and impact assessments.

Monthly Check-ins

Internship Services

Launch Your Career at Hub 17

Our internship program is designed for students and recent graduates who want real-world experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

3–6 Month Programs

Structured internships with clear deliverables, a dedicated supervisor, and a recognised certificate on completion.

In-Person & Remote

Work from our Makurdi hub or remotely — we accommodate students from across Nigeria and beyond.
